About Me and How I Work
While taking time out from a first career in finance to care for my children, I found myself becoming drawn more and more into the garden, enjoying growing plants and playing around with designs. An RHS Horticulture Course at Capel Manor College followed and then a Diploma in Garden Design. Since then I have been designing gardens in North London.
I very much enjoy the creative element of garden design, but find that skills from my first career are also relevant; an ability to communicate well, an appreciation of sticking to costings, and an attention to detail are all part of the process.
Working with you, I will listen carefully to what you want to do in the space being created and how you want it to feel. While many of the plots I work in are similar, the people are all unique and each garden is different depending upon differing needs and style perspectives. The more a client is engaged in the process the better the result! Depending upon your needs, I can offer a detailed consultation,
planting services or a full garden re-design with follow up maintenance. All projects receive my full attention, large or small.
